Prior to joining Valen, Bankson was most recently with Capital One Auto Finance as Vice President, Business Analytics and Modeling Solutions. During his seven years with Capital One Auto Finance, he was instrumental in the aggressive growth of the company’s auto lending business, resulting in the company being named among the nation’s top three non-captive auto lenders with over $15 billion in annual loan originations. Bankson’s two decades of professional experience includes management and consulting positions with companies such as Bickerstaff & Whatley Consulting, Blockbuster, and Martin Marietta Denver Aerospace. “Dan brings a wealth of financial services industry experience as well as an impressive background in business analytics and modeling,” noted Valen CEO Dax Craig. “He’s a great addition to our executive team and I look forward to his leadership and contribution as we expand our P&C market presence and product offerings.” In addition to his professional experience, Bankson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science from Baylor University, as well as a Master of Science in Statistics from Southern Methodist University.
