Greg Penn joins Valen Technologies as Vice President, Engineering Penn to lead Valen’s predictive analytics engineering and product strategy initiatives
DENVER, Colo., October 1, 2008 – Valen Technologies, the Software-as-a-Service predictive modeling experts for the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, announced today that Greg Penn has joined the company as Vice President, Engineering. Reporting to Valen’s CEO Dax Craig, Penn will spearhead the company’s web-hosted predictive analytics engineering and product strategy initiatives. Prior to joining Valen, Penn’s most recent position was Vice President of Product Strategy and Development with Junction Solutions where he successfully formulated and deployed all product strategy and roadmap initiatives. With two decades of experience, Penn has held broad range of technical and management positions, including Consultant, Product Manager, Director of Development, and Principal Engineer. In addition to Junction Solutions, Penn spent nine years with Peoplesoft (acquired by Oracle) and eight years with Andersen Consulting. “I am pleased to announce Greg’s appointment and would like to welcome him to the Valen management team,” commented Valen’s Dax Craig. “The breadth and depth of his development and engineering experience is a great addition to our group.
